iCal Bot (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Create new space with meeting invite file
Cerium Networks iCal Bot is a simple to use and intuitive addition to your Cisco Spark spaces that allows you to create and configure events for your email and calendar software. When a user initiates an @Mention with the iCal bot, they can create a new meeting by specifying the meeting title, start and end dates/times, as well as meeting descriptions. The user will then be notified through Spark that they have joined a new space where they can download the meeting file from.
@iCal /meeting test | 8/18/2017 | 8:00 am | 8/18/2017 | 10:00 am | something something
The iCal file will be visible to users to download and import to their compatible scheduling software of choice.
Any users in the room can @mention the iCal bot and join the new meeting space as well. A simple call of @iCal /join [Meeting Name] will allow the user to join the room where the iCal file is at. Additionally, meetings can be created using the /wizard command after mentioning the bot.
