The CPaaS MCP Server enables authorized AI agents to discover approved messaging assets and send governed messages through Webex Connect using Send Message API v2. Current tools support SMS and text/HTML email, including attachments. The server provides tenant-aware authentication, validation, rate limiting, and auditing. To get started, an administrator enables MCP messaging in Webex Connect, configures eligible assets and use cases, creates Webex Integration credentials, and connects the server to a compatible AI client. The MCP is free to use with a licensed Webex Connect subscription. Messaging usage is subject to the entitlements and charges associated with your Webex Connect edition.
