TPx Webex users can add the convenience of SMS communication direct to their Webex app!

Before you begin, make sure you have a UCx with Webex Account from TPx. Need one? Reach out to TPx Sales at 866-897-7379 or visit TPx.com to sign up and for pricing information.

To get started, follow these steps:

1. Add the TPx SMS App to Webex using the green button above.
2. Say “Hi” to the App. Search your Webex client for “TPxSMSApp” and initiate a chat. You may send it anything you wish, as long as you start a chat space.
3. The App will prompt you for the telephone number you want to text. Fill in the telephone number as 11 digits, including the area code and a leading 1.
4. The App will create an SMS space dedicated to that number. Rename it to something useful to you, such as, “Tyler Cell Phone”.
5. Any messages you send in the Tyler Cell Phone space will be converted to SMS and sent directly to the mobile number you entered. All messages received from that number will also show up in this space.
